What is the Etheric Body?
The 7 basic chakras are situated in the etheric body. This is an energy field like a grid system surrounding us, and permeates through every cell and atom of our physical body.
The etheric body extends out to around 12 cm from the physical body, creating the aura of health. It connects the physical body to the emotional body, the emotional body to the mental body and the mental body to the spiritual bodies. The etheric body works like an antenna, which receives, assimilates, modulates and transmits energy flow into the chakras and physical body on many levels.
This grid system supports the physical body, our organs, and all its functions, whilst keeping us connected to the universal life-force.
